D-Link, the end-to-end networking solutions provider for consumers and business, has announced the launch of a wireless home network router - the Wireless N Gigabit Router (DIR-655).

The draft 802.11N device has earned the right to display Microsofts Works with Windows Vista logo.

According to D-Link, the router displays the Works with Windows Vista logo only after passing tests in Microsoft labs.

Display of the Works with Windows Vista logo on its packaging and promotional materials allows D-Link to assure potential buyers that the D-Link Wireless N Gigabit Router (DIR-655) complies with the new features of Windows Vista, including increased stability and mobility, enhanced security, improved graphics, greater support for file sharing, data management, multimedia streaming in a home or small office environment, and gaming.

Products that carry the Certified for Windows Vista logo have met explicit standards of reliability and quality, says Brad Goldberg, GM for Windows Vista product management at Microsoft.
