To further augment its range, the business technology company has introduced the Konica Minolta bizhub PRO C6500, a compact and affordable 65 page per minute (ppm) multifunctional digital colour press.
 
KMSA colour division product manager, Marianna Gdanis, says the bizhub PRO C6500 is an enhanced version of bizhub PRO C500. We will be offering several configurations of the bizhub PRO C6500, offering customers anything from an entry-level version to a high-end production system.
 
With a maximum paper capacity of 7 500 sheets and a target average volume of 200 000 pages per month, the bizhub PRO C6500 has multiple paper settings allowing for 64 to 300gsm paper weight and up to A3+ paper sizes (330mm x 487mm), she adds.
 
An 'air-blast' feature on external paper feeders and an ultrasonic multi-feed detection sensor aim to ensure that even coated sheets of paper do not stick together, and prevent the feeding of multiple sheets at once.
 
The system comes with Konica Minoltas new generation polymerised toner, Simitri HD, which was created specifically for the production printing market, and delivers high image quality with excellent colour reproduction, Gdanis adds.
