HP releases notebook PCs with Windows Vista

HP has announced a refresh of its popular Pavilion entertainment notebook PC range, with the most notable addition being Genuine Windows Vista Home edition.

HP engineers have devoted more than 153 000 man-hours over the past five years working with Microsoft on the development of Windows Vista, aiming to ensure that HP delivers a more valuable technology experience for computing customers.

With Windows Vista preloaded on the new range of Pavilion entertainment notebook PCs, HP is making the consumers computing experience easier, safer and more entertaining than ever before, says Damien Durrant, notebook product manager at HP.

The following models have been introduced across the HP Pavilion Entertainment Notebook series:

* HP Pavilion Media Center dv2267ea Entertainment Notebook PC: Said to be a versatile PC featuring a powerful battery, advanced mobility, 14,1-inch widescreen display that is high definition (HD) ready as well as HPs BrightView technology.

* Four new models in the HP Pavilion dv6200 Entertainment Notebook PC series: Notebooks in this series aim to combine the power of a desktop and the convenience of a notebook at an affordable price. The models announced are The HP Pavilion dv6204eu Entertainment Notebook PC, HP Pavilion dv6206ea Entertainment Notebook PC, HP Pavilion Media Center dv6243ea Entertainment Notebook PC and the HP Pavilion Media Center dv6245eu Entertainment Notebook PC.

* HP Pavilion Media centre dv9291ea Entertainment Notebook PC: This notebook features a 17-inch widescreen display and mobile processors, aiming to make it an entertainment powerhouse
