Annex Distribution, together with its international IT supplier partner, Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC), has announced the availability of the Pocket LOOX T Series.

This all-in-one PDA device aims to combine the GSM/UMTS/mobile phone with complete handheld functionality.

The Pocket LOOX T Series is designed to provide all the necessary features to keep mobile professionals connected to their business. The GSM/UMTS mobile phone aims to support polyphonic and MP3/WAV ring-tones and to enable VoIP via integrated WLAN and/or UMTS.

In addition the device incorporates Wi-Fi certified WLAN 802.11 b/g as well as Bluetooth V2.0, the companies say.

FSC has taken mobile business management to a new level with the Pocket LOOX T Series. It allows the user access to the latest in mobile applications and also features a VGA camera for video telephony as well as a two-megapixel camera with auto focus for impressive quality pictures, explains Grant Tunbridge, FSC product manager at Annex Distribution.

These applications include Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Phone Edition; New Office Mobile Suite incorporating Word, Excel and Power Point mobile and the highest expandability due to built-in SD-I/O MMC slot, for archiving business data, pictures or multimedia files, he says.

The QWERTY keyboard also features five-way navigation key, three-way jog dial and two application buttons, he adds.
