Epson has included its latest ink technology offering - Claria Photographic Ink, in two 6-colour photo printers, the Stylus Photo R390 and R270, which also feature Epson PhotoEnhance technology.

Called a 'photo expert inside your printer this technology aims to ensure that users produce bright and vibrant photos every time.

Both models are claimed to offer cost-effective printing with individual ink cartridges. Users only need to replace the colour that they have used.

The Stylus Photo R390 aims to allow users to print, edit, crop and remove red-eye from photos without a computer. They can simply insert their digital camera memory card and preview their photos from the colour 3,5-inch viewer.

The Stylus Photo R270 also includes Epson Easy Photo Print, aiming to make it easy for users to edit and print their photos from the PC.

Epson Claria ink technology has been specifically designed for photographic printing. When combined with Epson glossy photo paper, it is claimed to deliver superior quality glossy prints, with the highest levels of durability. The six-colour ink-set is said to include; cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan and light magenta.
