Oracle supports iFactory mobileObsession enterprise mobility application

Oracle SA has announced support for mobileObsession, an enterprise mobility application developed by an Oracle partner, iFactory, which is a local mobile technology developer.

Oracle will be providing access to its product, technical and industry expertise to help iFactory deliver the solution to market, beginning with the launch of mobileObsession's mbiz4Oracle, a comprehensive software application which aimd to extend Oracles ERP applications to mobile devices.

iFactory is black-empowered, which along with the companys technical expertise in the mobile industry, was key in our decision to partner with it, says Nicky Sheridan, vice-president and MD of Oracle SA.

mbiz4Oracle is designed to provide secure remote access to Oracle applications from converged wireless devices using rich browser and native user-interfaces. Based on Oracle Application Server Wireless, a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware, mbiz4Oracle aims to provide fast, anywhere, any time functionality for approvals, expenses, customer and account enquiries, sales, human resources self-service management and daily business intelligence.
