Local Microsoft Gold partner Mint has been awarded Microsoft CRM certification in recognition of its demonstrated capabilities in customising and implementing Microsoft's customer relationship management (CRM) software.

This certification complements the three other competencies in which Mint is already certified, namely:

- information worker solutions;
- business process and integration solutions; and
- custom development solutions

All four competencies in which Mint is now certified highlight that we are a focused, service-oriented organisation, more than capable of maximising Microsoft solutions to deliver value to customers, says Grant Hodgkinson, business development director at Mint. Microsofts CRM solution is gaining momentum in the market under the companys Dynamics brand, which includes enterprise resource planning software. CRM certification will go a long way to strengthening the solutions market position, and enhancing our appeal as a Microsoft-partnered solutions provider.

Achieving the certification required Mint to put forward several CRM professionals to write three exams; and to demonstrate successful delivery and implementation of Microsoft CRM with a customer.

Mint says that it has already implemented a support desk system using Microsoft CRM and built a fully configurable customer support extranet. Using this solution, users can sign in to log their own support calls, view audit trails, interrogate call histories and obtain status on any outstanding calls.
