It is said to incorporate the NVidia nForce 590 SLI MCP chipset, and is designed to provide dual-core CPU, SLI dual-PCI Express graphics, dual-channel DDR2 and dual-LAN controller architectures.
Instead of the traditional two separate heatsinks for the Northbridge and Southbridge, the M2N32 WS Professional Motherboard incorporates the copper heatpipe design, which aims to link the two chipsets together, and to provide extra large heatsinks for more heat exchange area, aiming to result in faster heat dissipation and reliable system performance.
Its eight-phase power design generates less heat than conventional power solutions, and provides a cool computing environment for stable performance and a higher over-clocking margin, the company says.
The M2N32 WS Professional Motherboard also features Cool Stack 2, a fan-less and zero noise cooling solution that is designed to transfer heat to the other side of the printed circuit board for effective heat dissipation without the noise generated by high-speed fan rotation.
According to ASUS, the M2N32 WS Professional comes equipped with two PCI-X slots, two PCI slots, two IEEE 1394a ports, ten USB 2.0 ports and ten Serial ATA-II 3Gbps ports to provide mega storage capacity.
