The DVG-G1402S is a router with 802.11g wireless that aims to facilitate users to easily network all of their computers and other networking devices together and share Internet access.
The DVG-G1402S also enables end-users to use their existing analogue telephones with VoIP phone service, the company says. It comes with two FXS ports to allow end-users the flexibility to either connect up to two analogue phones or an analogue phone and a FAX machine for a small office environment, D-Link adds.
The DVG-G1402S Wireless VoIP Router is designed to support the SIP voice protocol, which is widely deployed by VoIP providers on the market. It also supports the basic telephony features, such as call waiting and caller ID, the company says.
This Wireless VoIP Router provides all of the necessary elements to create a voice and data network for home and SoHo environments by combining VoIP with a network router, states Tobie van Schalkwyk, D-Link SA country manager.
Above all, the DVG-G1402S will help customers to control their budget by not having to purchase all of the hardware individually, he concludes.
The D-Link DVG-G1402S is available through Comztek, Mustek and Pinnacle Micro at a suggested retail price of R1950.
