Provider of ERP solutions, Sage Line 500 and SalesLogix CRM, Softline Enterprise has launched Sage Business Intelligence (SageBI) v5.0.

The company has invested significant time, resources and energy into developing and delivering this release, which brings many improvements designed to help customers extract greater value from their business data, improve planning and increase their competitive edge, says Ashley Ellington, MD, Softline Enterprise.

SageBI v5.0 is a full service release and is a complete replacement of SageBI v4, he adds. It boasts several enhancements such as extended support for inserted rows and columns; none empty cross joins; dimension name caption; improved connection management; report layout panel improvements and changes can now be made to drill to detail timeout periods, he claims.

Ellington says there are also additional functions for Sage Line 500 customers: There are added fields to the financial solution, which means it now writes the analysis codes to the data warehouse, as well as journal number and description. This allows consultants to easily add these fields to the customer's solutions. He says another feature is support for product hierarchy fields.
