HP channel manager, Thierry Boulanger, says that HP has adopted a 'gateway' approach of delivering its partner benefits. Smart Portal, which is the main entry point to a host of partner tools and benefits including Smart Learning, was designed to present all the resources available in a way that partners can easily access them.

There are various training methods available, including online and instructor led. To assist partners select the right courses and curricula, Smart Learning enables participants to conduct a self-assessment of their training and business needs, as well as select and structure courses through a learning plan.

Also available through Smart Learning is special cross-portfolio training exclusive to Preferred Partners.

Says Boulanger: The PPP offers numerous benefits and the recertification process is crucial to remaining or becoming an HP Preferred Partner. We are happy to be able to offer a convenient and hassle-free way for them to do so.
