As part of its expansion into Africa, medical aid company, Prosperity Health, has selected Bytes Communications Solutions (BCS) to implement a 50-seat Alcatel Omnitouch Contact Centre complete with IVR and a voice logger. This installation forms part of an Africa-wide network for Prosperity Health.

Says Koos Labuschagne of BCS: This installation will assist Prosperity Health with its expansion into Africa, as it forms part of its Africa-wide network roll-out. Not only will this system give Prosperity Health a competitive edge, it will also assist with business and process automation.

The R1,9m project includes Alcatel Omni PCX Enterprise with Omnitouch Contact Centre software version 6.2. Also incorporated is an integrated IVR and third party voice logger application from Nice Catering for 50 call centre agents as a single site user. This will allow for upgrading at a later stage to a multi site with remote agents, the company says.

BCS has been a partner of Prosperity Health since 1994, and Rika van der Post, CIO of Prosperity Health, says that working with BCS has been a positive experience. She adds: The BCS solution is working out very well for Prosperity Health. We are impressed with the level of service provided by BCS as well as the quality of the hardware.
