Lexmark International has introduced the Lexmark C500n colour laser printer, which is aimed at SME customers looking for a versatile, reliable printer.

With speeds of up to 31ppm in monochrome and 8ppm in colour and an estimated street price of R3 699 (incl VAT), the Lexmark C500n can serve as the primary printing device for customers who require colour but also print large volumes of black and white documents, the company says. The Lexmark C500n also comes standard with networking so the printer can be shared by several users in a small workgroup to further reduce costs.

Says Hans Horn, MD of Lexmark International SA: The Lexmark C500n is great value for money, and is ideal for the SME looking for ways to print high volumes of monochrome documents, but still have the option of high-quality colour printing, at a price which is affordable for smaller businesses.

The Lexmark C500n aims to give users the ability to precisely manage and adapt the colour output to meet their personal preferences, with independent colour density control for black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. It also features 1200 x 600 dots per inch enhanced quality for printing vivid colour photos and graphics, Horn adds.
