Oh well, I would love to say that it has been an interesting week, or be able to give some scintillatingly fascinating commentary on something.
Alas, I am all out of inspiration, and have no inclination to rehash this weeks news, again. *grin*
I will say that the MWeb move from UUNet to IS is something worth watching.
The migration is set for February next year, giving us lots of time to consider the move and speculate on what the implications are going to be for the companies concerned, the market, and, most importantly, MWebs client base.
Interestingly, and probably co-incidentally, the move is scheduled for 1 February - VoIP deregulation day.
What this means is, that at the very least, everyone in the ISP space is likely to be frantically busy right about then.
What impact, if any, this will have on the migration, however, is another story entirely.
Comments, speculation, gossip and the like can be sent to the usual address - .
