Under the terms of the agreement, BSI will take responsibility for supporting channel partners and end-users locally, representing a significant investment by the distributor both in business development and technical resources. Centennial and BSI already work together in other key regions, therefore the appointment reflects a logical extension of a relationship that dates back to 2002.
We are confident that BSI is the right distribution partner to help Centennial Software further penetrate the southern African market, says Tony Probert, vice-president: international business development, at Centennial Software. The combination of technology from Centennial, and solutions and service delivery expertise from BSI, will assist the existing reseller channel to ensure that existing and new customers get the full benefit of our solutions.
As part of the new relationship, BSI will take responsibility for managing and developing the reseller channel for Centennial Software in sub-Saharan Africa, recruiting and supporting resellers that specialise in delivering IT governance, asset management and security solutions.
