Synergy will resell the entire Informatica range including: Informatica PowerCenter for the extraction, transformation and loading data; Informatica PowerExchange for connectivity to more complex data sources; Informatica Metadata Manager for metadata management and reporting; Informatica Data Quality for the cleansing of data; and Informatica Data Explorer for profiling data.
We have people across the country with branches in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg, says King. They have honed their skills around a few other ETL sets in the past and they have trained with Informatica SA to bring themselves up to spec on its products.
Some of Synergys clients include the South African Post Office (SAPO) which first contracted the company in 1986. Others are Woolworths, Metropolitan Life, Nandos, Anchor Yeast, DHL, Exel, Pfizer and Standard Bank.
