According to D-Link marketing manager, Karien Wood, the introduction of the programme comes in the companys 20th year of operation. The 'Think D-Link. Think Rewards!' programme is geared to reward its channel partners for their continued support. PlusPoints are awarded for sales of our most popular wireless products, including access points, network adapters for desktops and notebooks and routers. We have specifically chosen high volume products since this will give our resellers the opportunity to rapidly earn rewards of some substance, she adds.
While the initial programme will run on a few selected products until December 2006, Wood says the qualifying products may be extended depending on the response from the channel.
