The greatest change in the complexion of SA's ICT sector has not occurred at the highest levels - but in the ranks of professionals. Research undertaken by Johannesburg-based LMO Executive Services for the ninth annual CompITE report for SA, part of a series of salary surveys undertaken by Watson Wyatt, reveals that the proportion of white males in the highest positions in ICT organisations has declined by a mere 2,6% since 2002, to 64,9% in 2004 (65,5% in 2003).
