ICL's Eject services manager, Bill Keenan says Branded Internet Access (BIA) is a cost-effective way of enhancing brand awareness to a targeted customer base, on an ongoing basis.
"The www.yourcompany.co.za domain name is a powerful marketing tool. It drives users to your Web site and amongst others provides an additional marketing channel. It also encourages brand loyalty, creates a powerful on-line user community and can be harnessed as a market research channel," he explains.
"ICL has points of presence throughout major metropolitan areas in SA, ensuring that most users are able to access the service by a local telephone call, thereby keeping telephone costs at a minimum," he adds.
Complementary services include e-mail anti-virus scanning, call centre support, ISDN, business directory listings, Web development tools and billing services.
Keenan says that crucial to the service in any Internet access environment is call centre support. "ICL provides full call centre services ranging from assistance to clients signing up to day-to-day user support."
"This includes marketing campaign management, enabling any client or existing BIA service to embark on marketing campaigns with the backing of our customised call centre," continues Keenan.
Eject is also offering a billing service to all branded Internet access clients. "This is a cost-effective consumer billing system, tailored to be seamlessly representative of our ISP clients on behalf of their customers. We offer the service on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis, via direct deduction from the customer's account on debit order or credit card. Payment can also be accepted via Internet banking, cash deposits and stop orders," he says.
"There are also a wide range of reports and extracts available to meet customer specific requirements," notes Keenan.
