This follows on the awards that the company took at the Interactive Intelligence EMEA Partner Conference in Amsterdam earlier this month. Dave Paulding, regional sales manager, UK & Africa of US-owned Interactive Intelligence, says: "We are exceptionally pleased to be able to confer this award on Atio, as its commitment to Interactive Intelligence through revenue performance has proved to be outstanding over the last three years."
The award is also in no small measure due to Atio's success as one of Interactive Intelligence's top resellers worldwide during last year, arising from a focused sales effort in both Johannesburg and Cape Town, and a very aggressive approach to sourcing new business, he continues.
Paulding adds: "Atio's meaningful investment in skilling-up in product sets has seen it produce fifteen trained and certified engineers to date." He continues: "Atio's revenue generation positions it as second to only the Netherlands, outside of the US, in a highly competitive market." Atio has also consistently shown its ongoing commitment to rising to the challenges of developing business in sub-Saharan Africa, with viable successes in Botswana and Nigeria over the last 12 months.
André le Roux, MD of Atio's Interactive Intelligence Division, says: "Interactive Intelligence's suite of products is world class, and its modular non-proprietary architecture allows us to be flexible and innovative in our local and sub-Saharan Africa markets. We are extremely pleased with the Platinum status awarded to us, and are looking forward to continued growth and success with Interactive Intelligence."
Platinum Status is only awarded on achieving specific criteria, such as meeting or exceeding revenue targets, as well as the number of certified personnel a partner organisation maintains, Paulding concludes.
