For some reason or other, the only news we have been hearing about is as interesting as watching paint dry.

And all of our best journalistic efforts have failed to run up anything more interesting than said paint.

As for the â¬Ëśnews releases that I have been receiving - well, advertising or marketing waffle would accurately describe many of them.

Sad really, because I am sure some of them would be interesting if the writers had focused more on the facts and less on the adjectives.

Oh well, such is life, what?

Speaking of which, we hear the BEE ICT Charter Working Group is dead set on meeting the 6 March deadline for a final version, as apparently its members want their lives back. *grin* Could they mean that juggling everyones interests, listening to everyones concerns, and wading through thousands of submissions on the charter is not the lifes work they always dreamt of doing? *evil grin*

And now alas, I have a meeting, and must put an end to this enthrallingly scintillating Soapbox! *wink*
